Tour Over View
Following the Great Migration.
This itinerary will give you the best chances to see the Great Migration of Wildebeest and Zebras throughout the Year, from Crossing of Mara River to dropping of calves in the Southern plains of Serengeti.

Day 1; Arusha City/Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at your place, you will be pick up at 08h00 this morning you will drive southwest through Masai steppe land to Tarangire National Park for Lunch at Roika. After Lunch you will spend the rest of the day game viewing in Tarangire, viewing some of Tanzania’s largest populations of elephant and enjoying the diverse scenery, including the dramatic baobab trees that are so typical of the park. This park boasts a high concentration of animals, including elephant, zebra, eland, and wildebeest, and plenty of predators. Picnic Lunch will be served at the picnic site where you will have a nice view of Tarangire River overlooking down the valley where most of the animals will be gathering drinking from the river. Later afternoon you will drive back to the lodge for overnight.

Day 2 Tarangire National Park/Lake Manyara

Breakfast at the Lodge, depart to Manyara for lunch. After lunch you will enjoy afternoon game drives at Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara is located just below the great African rift valley, Lake Manyara is the soda lake which hosts thousands of flamingos and the park is also the home of tree climbing lions.

Day 3 Lake Manyara/Serengeti National Park-Ndutu

After leisure breakfast, with picnic lunch drive past the great rift valley escarpment and through the wheat and coffee farms towards Ngorongoro conservation area, after processing all the permits proceed to Serengeti National Park where you will have chance stop for a short visit of Olduvai gorge if you like (optional tour), Picnic lunch will be provided on the way. After Lunch proceed with game drives en route to the Camp/Lodge.

Day 4. Southern Serengeti-Ndutu

You will spend the full day following the great Migration in the southern plains of the Serengeti at around Ndutu area. Ndutu area is very famous for its abundant number of cheetah and other large cats and a lot of plain animals including Thomson and Grants gazelles. Dinner and overnight at Ndutu Katikati Camp. FB

Day 5. Southern Serengeti-Ndutu

Early morning game drives with packed breakfast, on this day you will focus on hunting and other actions very early morning and enjoy magnificent lighting of sunrise over the Serengeti plains. At around 11h00 you will back to the Camp, and have mid afternoon at Leisure. Lunch will be served at the Camp. Later afternoon game drives.

Day 6. Ndutu/Karatu

After breakfast at the Lodge/Camp, depart with picnic Lunch and drive to the Ngorongoro and then Karatu. You will enjoy game drives en route. Picnic Lunch will be served on the way and if interested this will be the day to visit Maasai Village and get the chance to interact with Maasai and enjoying their activities and get the chance to see inside their houses and other activities. Later proceed to Karatu for overnight.

Day 7 Karatu/Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast at the Lodge, depart with picnic lunch to Ngorongoro Crater where you will spend the full the day exploring Ngorongoro crater which is a World Heritage Site and home to nearly 25,000 animals. Giving you a very real chance of spotting the big five: lion, elephant, endangered black rhino, buffalo, plus countless other African mammal species. You will witness the magnificent array of habitats, each with its own unique wildlife and flora. You will take time out to stretch your legs and enjoy your picnic lunch at Ngoitokitok Springs watching the hippos jostle for position in the water. After lunch you will proceed with game viewing leaving the crater floor in the late afternoon and drive back to Country Lodge. FB

Day 8 Karatu/Arusha

Leisure breakfast at the Lodge, departs to Arusha for lunch at the restaurant, and later Drop off at Arusha airport/Kilimanjaro International.
